Ah... Digby NS! It is a lovely town which need to be busted - has a working class charm that is hard to describe, but keeps you wanting to come back. That's very much a great description of Josie's Place, it has a charm that is hard to describe, but you want to go back. The food is fantastic, nothing fancy, but everything I have had, has been very tasty, and exactly what I was looking for at the time. It is an all day breakfast / lunch place which is amazing with Kids, and they have outlets at each of the booths for charging phones.... it was a pleasant surprise!

Clean, friendly, and quick service. It is a diner, so expect diner quality food. Would recommend the fish cakes with green tomato chow, yummy!

This place was a great one to stop at on our way from Bridgetown over to Digby to catch the ferry to St. John's. Our family was looking for a place to stop in, eat quickly, try some scallops and clams, and be close to the ferry without going into the busy town area, and Josie's Place answered the call. This place is friendly towards Asians, cash/debit card accepted only, and they have parking. They also serve breakfast all day, and you can also order dinner items for breakfast. That's how we tried scallop and clam rolls, as well as their fish cake breakfast platter. The prices were fair, portions just right and the service was awesome. They also allow you to remove fries from your order and will subtract $2 from the price, which was a relief as we've been fed baskets of fries our entire trip. Our coffee mugs stayed hot all throughout the meal thanks to steady refills. We made it to the ferry just 7 minutes away!

Seems like it's an old establishment, with all expected breakfast meals. Nothing really great, nothing really bad. Nothing exciting. Service was very nice, and it seems like at this town it's above the average.
